Shortly after their wedding ceremony at The Elvetham in Hampshire, Kate & Ollie stepped out of the ceremony room with their daughter. Instead of capturing this moment head-on, I chose to take a couple of steps to one side; partly to make the most of some lovely light and the leading lines offered by the panelled walls, but mostly to eliminate a number of visual distractions behind them in the ceremony room. I love the exchange of looks between Ollie and his daughter; it’s such a simple and honest scene that I hope they’ll treasure for years to come.
