Chris and Susie’s beautiful wedding in Sussex was such a genuine pleasure to document. Their traditional service was held at St Margaret’s church in the village of West Hoathly where the heavens truly opened after the ceremony! This was swiftly followed by a lovely champagne reception at Slaugham Place where, remarkably, the weather was nothing short of stunning.
What made this a particularity great day for photography was that Susie, Chris and their families fully embraced my particular style of documentary wedding photography, this allowed me to really concentrate of making strong, emotive reportage images that honestly portray the essence of the wedding day, rather than too many staged photographs. The wedding had such a great atmosphere to work in too.
We are absolutely delighted with our pictures and you were an absolute pleasure to have around on the day. Several people have commented that our photographer was a really nice guy who seemed very professional but also friendly and unobtrusive. And they weren’t prompted to say that!
Thanks again Ian, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and a more lovely set of images to capture the big day.
Thank you
Susie and Chris
